Looking for a skilled, reliable freelancer to add to your pool?
I can swim with the best of them.

I’ve been freelancing since 2001. When you view my clips, you’ll see HOW I write, not WHAT I write. That’s because much of the work I’ve done was proprietary in nature (such as the technical glossary I wrote for Honeywell back in the day), and I can’t post those clips.

That said, these freelance copywriting/marcomm samples should give you a feel for my voice: the manner in which I weave words. I’ve written hard copy before — sales letters, direct mail pieces — but I much prefer to write soft copy, those business-to-consumer (B2C) brochures, advertorial, and web copy that positively influences consumer opinion about a brand, product, or service. My friendly voice makes a great spokesperson for your brand.

Regrettably, I lost many of my early clips in a move in 2008. (How does that happen? How do entire boxes of household goods simply go missing between Point A and Point B?) So, I did what any resourceful person would do: I accessed the WayBack Machine at archive.org and ganked clips from my old website. I mention this so you’ll understand why some of the clips look strange (missing graphics, funny header at the top). On the plus side, you’ll see clips that date back to 2002, which underscores my claim that I’ve been freelancing for a long time.

You can check out my clips by downloading them below via Box.net. If you’re not comfortable downloading the clips to your computer (which I certainly understand!) you can use the alternative widget at LinkedIn to simply view them in your browser.
